Dr. Paul James Roob grew up in Rosholt, a small town in northeastern South Dakota. He attended Rosholt High School, where he was active in sports, band, theatre and choir. He graduated in 1993 and moved to Vermillion, S.D., where he began college at the University of South Dakota. It was there he met his wife, Sarah, who was also attending college at USD for Physical Therapy.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from USD in 1997, he moved to Davenport, Iowa, to begin his postgraduate studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While at Palmer College, Dr. Roob was active in motion palpation and sports injury clubs. He also helped provide chiropractic service to the underprivileged in Palmer’s Community Outreach clinics. In 2000 he graduated from Palmer with his Doctorate in Chiropractic and moved back to Vermillion. Also in 2000, he began practice at Vermillion Chiropractic, p.c.
Whild in the Vermillion Jaycees Dr. Roob was awarded their Outstanding Young Healthcare Professional award in 2002. Dr. Roob is active in St. Agnes church. He also enjoys supporting St. Agnes and Vermillion Public schools, where his 5 children attend. Dr. Roob is a Vermillion Tanager Athletics Booster club member and enjoys attending Tanager sporting events.
